Engineers Week Activities and Challenges

Engineers Ireland is celebrating 20 years for Engineers Week in 2025.  It was established to introduce primary and secondary school children to the diverse world of engineering. Engineering organisations are encouraged to collaborate with their local schools and are provided with suggested activities. The combination of professional expertise and learning-by-doing inspires children to open their eyes to how engineering is part of everyday life. Practical resources for teachers, such as hands-on activities, a classroom celebration pack and on-demand virtual engineering shows are also available on their website here (you will be redirected to the Engineers Ireland website)

Engineers Week 2025 will take place from Saturday, 1 - Friday, 7 March 2025.

To celebrate Engineers Week we have difference activities and challenges for you to try at home or in school.
