Here at the CRAFT Maker Space we too are planning a range of different workshops suited to your class!
Juniors & Seniors
“Helmet Heroes: Exploring Space Gear and Senses” Discover the essential parts of a space helmet and create your own prototype while learning about the five senses! This hands-on workshop will engage young minds with fun activities and sensory exploration.
First & Second
“Moon Base Builders: Geodomes and Habitats” Explore what it takes to live on the moon by building geodomes and habitats. This workshop includes hands-on activities with triangles and math, linking to geometry and engineering concepts in the primary curriculum
Third & Fourth
“Galactic Sun Catchers: Exploring Light and Color” Create sun catchers inspired by space while learning about light and color. This workshop links to the primary science curriculum by exploring how light passes through different materials and how colors are formed.
Fifth & Sixth
“Moon and Stars: Projector Slide Workshop” Explore the wonders of the moon and stars by creating projector slides. This workshop integrates lessons on space science with creative art projects, supporting curriculum goals in both subjects.
